“In My Mind” was the resulting piece of a class project, during my DIgital Foundations class we were instructed to create a work using only images cut out of other pictures and arranged in Photoshop. It had to be a piece that communicated a complex emotion, it could be one we could name, or even an emotion we couldn’t quite put our finger on. After much thought I decided to communicate the feeling of helplessness in a suffocating world, the need to create but being unable to do so. The resulting image is one I am still very fond of.
